API solutions were developed to help restaurants work with their own data in other related systems. A new, improved and more customizable online booking system was released.

A content platform is built into DinnerBooking.com to inspire guests to enjoy the great food scene. It was launched in the active DinnerBooking markets primarily in the Nordics.
2018
A DinnerBooking gift card that can be used at many restaurants utilizing DinnerBooking was introduced.
2016
The launch of the event system, which gives restaurants the possibility to sell tickets for special events. Additionally, a gift card system was launched so that restaurants can sell gift cards.
DinnerBooking creates DinnerDays – a restaurant festival - in Denmark for the first time. Additionally, a credit card prepayment solution was launched to avoid No-Shows.
2015
Launch of the iOS app DinnerBooking, allowing guests to easily and quickly book tables at restaurants and cafes. An equivalent Android version was also launched.
2014
Launch of the iOS app DinnerBooking Business, giving restaurants the ability to handle bookings on mobile devices.
2013
A new feedback module was put into production to help guests and restaurants share experiences while also aiding restaurants in improving their guest dialogue and experience.

Launch of DinnerBooking.com – a guest website with the purpose of giving the guest an even better table reservation experience.
2011
DinnerBooking developed an online booking system that initially targeted cafes. Subsequently, it expanded to include both restaurants and cafés with different software packages.
2009
Henrik Gemal, our CTO, joined DinnerBooking. Previously, Henrik was working as an IT manager in a large telecom company in Denmark. DinnerBooking transitioned to becoming a cloud software service.
2008
SystemBook changed its name to DinnerBooking, and the company now solely focused on restaurant management systems.
2007
The leading restaurants in Denmark provided input for the updated version to ensure the best possible understanding of the industry.
2006
Early in 2005, Christian completed the first version of SystemBook’s restaurant management software, which included a fully integrated online guest booking system. Later that year, Peter Thygesen, Christian’s brother, joined SystemBook.
2005
Christian Thygesen founded SystemBook as a resource system based on code he developed in the years prior. It was used in several places, including a hospital in Denmark. SystemBook was later renamed to DinnerBooking. In the same year, the restaurant Søren K. requested an adapted booking system for their use.
