Who will win the prices as the best restaurants in Estonia 2017?
The finalists for this year’s edition of the prestigious Estonian gastronomy competition Silverspoon has been revealed. Read more about Silverspoon and look who’s nominated as the best restaurants in Estonia 2017.
Silverspoon is an Estonian gastronomy contest that strives to acknowledge and develop the culinary culture in Estonia. The winners of the competition will be announced at the Silverspoon Award, which will be held in Tallinn this Friday, November 3rd 2017.
The finalists of this year’s Silverspoon are:
Fine Dining – Horisont, Tchaikovsky and Ö
Casual Dining – Gloria Winery, Kaks Kokka and Ribe
Family Restaurant – GOSPA, Lucca and YliCool
Estonian Cuisine – Farm, Juur and Leib Resto & Aed
International Cuisine – Cru, Gianni and Haku
Cafe – Café Lyon Meistri, Gianni Café and Hapsal Dietrich
Pub/Brasserie – Kolm SIbulat, Frenchy and Saku Gastropub
Street Food – La Prima Pizza, Papa Joe and Burger Kitchen Tänavagurmee
Side categories
Besides the abovementioned eight main categories there’s also the side categories Best Chef, Best Vegetarian and Best Service. The finalists in these side categories are:
Best Chef – Martin Meikas and Ranno Paukson from Restaurant Ö, Martin Meikas and Ranno Paukson from the restaurant Kaks Kokka, Shuichi Shiraish from restaurant Haku, and Costantino Veglianti from restaurant Gianni
Best Service – Ribe, Haku and Gianni
Best Vegetarian – Vegan Restoran V, Raimond and Ö.
